FR5/10/2001: dreamt i am with Noel on an island where everything is like the lava levels in quake, except that the floor is loose and you have to keep moving and jumping around or you will get burnt. at one point i tell him i feel too hot to carry on and i need to go back so he helps me, leaping over a dangerous ledge. the ground is green textured and has hatches which open up to reveal the lava. he urges me to jump and i do, even though there is only a small amount of room on the ledge, but i don't make a mistake. in fact i feel more angry with myself than scared, because i know i can't take it. next i spend the whole day unintentionally killing people by psychic means, then at the end of the day i take a helicopter ride with some other people but i fake an act like i am an angel and Eminem is there but he is not angry with me. the ground is erupting into fire and there are flaming tree trunks all around. next "Book and TV", a series of childrens videos that i have bought, only they need a special de-scrambler which i cannot use and i only manage to unlock the advert segments. entertainment news comes on, which has a presenter against a black background with a microphone and a wire globe, talking about the "Book and TV" programmes. there is a flyer for one with Kate Winslet in. She is kneeling and says "Ma!" which is followed by massive but good natured laughter. next a flyer for a childrens drama series where two figures are on a cold Scottish mountain side, within an enclosure. one figure has black gorilla body paint, and large fake breasts. she is covering herself with soapsuds and talking to a young boy of the same age who is done up in green metallic body paint, rather like a child of Pan. there is a cave and a cottage in the far background. suddenly they both panic as another child of Pan suddenly discovers a silver naked man who appears down the hillside. they act a fight in pantomime style, while they battle for a key by a drystone wall with another cave in the distance. note that the person who shouted "Ma!" in the trailer was kneeling and was against a chinese style garden background, plus she only resembled Kate Winslet. also note that the black body paint breasts woman looked a little like the aboriginal girl from Heartbreak High and shouted something excited in a guttural language.
next in a kitchen standing next to snow who is in a good mood and lots of us are cooking. snow is standing to my right only she has short hair and looks nothing like i expected her to. she is on a mobile phone to a friend and i am eavesdropping on snow's side of the conversation. over the way is someone who looks like Charlie from Heartbreak High. he is frying sausages. thinking i am being debonair i lean over to snow and say with a big grin on my face "Me too!". Everyone in the kitchen including snow looks aghast and i say to myself "I said that". then Charlie says "nevermind, sausages." then i mutter to myself "life expectancy of the sausage man... i think so!" and i seriously think of killing everyone in the kitchen. prior to that snow (who was talking with an english accent) was discussing how much spice she should use. i said i don't mind as long as she doesn't add a huge amount of cumin and visualised the pan full of cumin. also before all of this i was talking IRL to Sonic Youth and Thurston was laughing hard at me.
next in the kitchen next to someone who is talking only i can't make out what she is saying and she is laughing. (same girl as earlier?)
next in a town high in the mountains where Keith from college is trying to hypnotize me and do something evil to me. he keeps telling me i am Rameses but with a smile on my face i say he is lying, even though i want to believe it. next there is a lot of shouting as people are screaming and running. someone says that the sky will darken because "it has been done" but i cannot believe it. also i was "becoming" an alien in the kitchen and it made a strange chanting in my head also i astrally walked to the radio which was snowing and the voice inside me was saying "Me... me... me..." in a strange alien tone.
note: before in the kitchen snow was asking how much spice i wanted. i made a joke about the pot had better not be a load of cumin and then i looked into the saucepan she was holding and it was filled with cumin, all sticking to the sides in lumps.
